Five USPs of the Seltos:

• Dual-zone climate control - The Seltos is the first mid-size SUV to come with the dual-zone climate control function.
• Dual screens - Several luxury SUVs have adopted a large, elongated screen for a sleeker design and the Seltos also gets this by combining the digital instrument cluster and the infotainment screen.
• ADAS - Kia has included the Level 2 ADAS technology with 17 features.
• Connected taillamps - The use of a wide LED bar running across the tailgate has become a popular design element in many vehicles, and the Seltos is no exception.
• Panoramic sunroof - This is one of the most demanded features by buyers and Kia has provided the electronically operated version of it in top-spec versions of the Seltos.

Two Features missing in the Seltos:

• Wireless Android Auto and CarPlay
• Cooled glovebox

15 key safety features in the Seltos:

• The new Seltos incorporates 15 additional safety features, collectively known as the 'Robust 15 Standard Safety Pack.' This includes six airbags and three-point seat belts as standard across all variants. Additionally, there are 11 other active safety features listed.
• 17 safety assist systems with ADAS
• Most interestingly, gets Level 2 ADAS (advanced driver assistance systems) that only the Astor was equipped with. The one in the Seltos comes with 17 adaptive features. These are similar to the ones in more premium cars in India, like the EV6, and are supported by one front camera and three radars (front and two rear corners).
• However, do note that this car has not been crash-tested yet, so we do not have the crash test scores.

Kia Seltos comes with six distinct interior choices

There are different colours and patterns for the three main trim lines, including the X line, GT Line, and the Tech Line.

• Exclusive X line – It features Sage Green leatherette seats with a Chevron pattern. Then, the black interior comes with green inserts providing it a unique look.
• Top-spec GT Line – These get black leatherette seats that match the black interior. To provide some contrast, there are white inserts in a tubular pattern and similar white accents around.
• Tech Line – This one provides four upholstery options depending on the variant. The entry-level get fabric seats, and as you move up the variant line-up there are leatherette seats with either brown, black and beige, or just beige colour. These are all in a geometric pattern. 

Too many options may make it confusing for a buyer

There are 18 variants with several trims like Tech Line, GT Line, and the top-spec X Line. It might be confusing for a buyer to choose from, with him/her having to closely look at the feature list to decide.
