When will the BMW X8 be launched? 

BMW is working on bringing in a new flagship that will sit above the current X7. This upcoming SUV is expected to be revealed sometime next year. 

What variants will it get?

The upcoming BMW X8 might be an M-only SUV. As a result, it's expected to be offered in four variants — X8 M45e, X8 M50i, X8 M, and X8 M iPerformance.

What features will be available in the BMW X8?

This new X8 has only been spotted undergoing testing. The spy shots suggest that the SUV will have dimensions similar to its X7 sibling. However, it won't be a surprise if the X8 will be an all-new model, built from the ground up. Hence, the luxury carmaker is expected to take everything a notch up, be it in terms of performance, features, luxury, and other aspects. It would be interesting to see what the carmaker packs in, in terms of innovation and tech. 

What will be the engine, performance, and specifications of the model?

The entry-level X8 M45e might feature a plug-in hybrid alongside an in-line six-cylinder engine. Meanwhile, the remaining three trims are expected to employ the brand's 4.4-litre twin-turbocharged V8 unit. Besides, the range-topping X8 M iPerformance might feature a 200bhp electric motor, which along with the V8 engine, should be able to produce a total power output of around 750bhp.

Is the BMW X8 a safe car?

BMW is known to provide its cars with top-notch safety suites. The X8 being the new flagship, will have all the bells and whistles that anyone can expect from the carmaker.

What will be the rivals to the BMW X8?

Upon its launch, the BMW X8 will take on high-end performance SUVs like the Mercedes-AMG G63, Bentley Bentayga V8, and the Lamborghini Urus.
