When will the new Honda WR-V be launched? 

The new-gen Honda WR-V has been unveiled for the Indonesian market and is expected to be introduced in India in March 2024.

What variants will it get? 

The new WR-V could be offered in three variants, namely E, S, and VX.

What features will be available in the new Honda WR-V?

The 2023 Honda WR-V will be a step up from the current model and will sport SUV-live design and styling. The front is dominated by the chrome-stud front grille and LED headlamps with integrated LED DRLs. The front bumper will be re-profiled to house the new casing for the LED fog lamps, whereas the alloys will receive a new design. The chunky plastic cladding on the wheel arches gives it a beefier look, while the C-pillar-mounted door handle is a unique placement. Other elements include split LED taillamps, a rear wiper, and a silver skid plate.

The cabin of the Honda WR-V looks familiar to that of the India-spec Amaze but instead follows a full-black theme with red highlights on the door pads, dashboard, and steering wheel. The features on offer include a nine-inch touchscreen infotainment system, leatherette upholstery, automatic climate control, and a rear-view camera. Moreover, it could also feature an ADAS suite, which Honda refers to as Honda Sensing. The model will have a seating capacity of up to five occupants.

What will be the engine, performance, and specifications of the new Honda WR-V?

The Honda WR-V is likely to be powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine that will be tuned to produce 89bhp and 110Nm of torque. The motor could be mated to a five-speed manual unit and a CVT unit.

The new-gen WR-V has scored a five-star rating in the ASEAN NCAP crash test.

What will be the rivals to the new Honda WR-V?

The new Honda WR-V will rival the Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Mahindra XUV300, and the Maruti Suzuki Brezza.
